LAS VEGAS — The Accord Coupe HF-S concept isn’t intended for production. Rather, it’s a showcase for technology and accessories being developed by Honda Access America.
The modifications are, for the most part, relatively subtle. They include LED driving lights that wrap around the edges of the front bumper, which has been reshaped for better cooling and aerodynamic efficiency; carbon-fiber wheel arches; a rear diffuser and deck lid spoiler.
Honda Access America also has electronically enhanced the throttle response, steering boost and suspension settings, and fitted a two-stage exhaust that opens up under full throttle.
The vehicle is finished in Cadmium Orange Pearl. The same color is used to highlight the brake calipers, badges, grille and interior trim.
What this means to you: Leave it to Honda to understate the performance potential of the new Accord.
